Villa Capistrano Overview
Located to the north-east of central Nerja in the trendy neighbourhood of El Capistrano is this pretty Andalusian villa, with its quirky layout, offering a separate street level studio apartment with a double bed, bathroom and kitchen; great for people travelling in groups of friends as it enables that extra bit of privacy. Also on the ground floor as you enter the property grounds, is a garage plus an extra parking space - perfect for larger groups.
Make your way up the stairs to the main entrance of the building where you will be met by a lovely, spacious terrace boasting inviting sofas, as well as a dining table and chairs - ideal for those long summer days where you can sit and look out at the picturesque sea views that this great little property presents.
Not only that, you also have views of your own private pool – the perfect place to spend hours splashing around under the hot sunshine. The villa also offers a portable barbecue, should you fancy dining al fresco in the evenings and sampling the local food that Nerja has to offer.
Step inside the main villa and you have an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with all modern amenities to ensure a comfy stay. Down the hall, you will find a modern twin bedroom, with built in wardrobes. A separate bathroom offers a bath with a shower over. Back outside will lead you to a separate entrance to the double bedroom where you have the added bonus of an ensuite bathroom with views of the swimming pool as well as the added luxury of an extra dressing room.
Villa Capistrano is excellently located, with a local supermarket within a 5 minute walk away, and restaurants as well as the popular Burriana Beach around 15 minutes away on foot. For the more active amongst us, there is also a fantastic sports centre with many facilities in the next street along. The famous and beautiful Nerja centre is also just a 15 minute walk downhill.

To access the villa there is a ramp as well as an 18-step staircase. The front door has a width of 90cm and there are steps, 1 to the main door and 1 to the terrace. Paths from the villa to the pool area are 80cm wide. My wife and I love this villa. It is in the lovely quiet resort of El Capistrano and has all of the amenities we are looking for. The villa is large and has its own very private swimming pool and balcony which has a lovely view of Nerja and the sea beyond. There is a local shop and a few very nice restaurants within walking distance and two supermarkets very close at hand. Nerja itself and the Balcon de Europa is around a 20 min walk. Alternatively, the beautiful Burriana beach is around 15 mins but it is quite a steep walk down and back, however there are taxis available if need be. We love to sit and watch the world go by outside Hotel Nerja Club and Spa as there is always lots going on in the tennis courts or sports stadium, which, by the way, does not intrude on the tranquil life in the villa although it is only a five minute walk away.

We have been going to Nerja for many years but only recently started staying at El Capistrano village. It is beautiful and this particular villa is our favourite to date. We will definitley stay again. It is very rustic and traditional wilth plently of space for all of the family. The pool is just the right size and is extremely private with nothing overlooking it. The priviat parking space was an added bonus and the villa was within easy reach of all of the amenities required along with restaurants and a short walk into town or the beach.

Villa Capistrano is in a wonderful, peaceful location on the outskirts of the main village of Nerja. As it is on a height you receive the best views of the sea and surrounding areas. The villa itself is spacious enough for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The separate self contained apartment at ground level is a good size and would suit another 2 people perfectly and it also has its own separate entrance door. Had a lovely relaxing time in this lovely villa.

The balcony was aboustely great...breakfast every moring looking out a the gorgeous views...the pool very clean. The owner himself came in to make sure everthing ok for us and checked pool also..town 10 mins walk...5 mins walk to bus stop to burrina beach. Absoutely top notch villa.. ill be rebooking on my return to nerja.

Villa Capistrano is all you could ask for, ideally located close to town with the hustle bustle you’d expect, but far enough out so you feel almost rural. Nearest bars and restaurants literally a minutes walk away with Super Sol Supermarket a minute more. Main town 10-15 minutes walk with more bars and restaurants than you could wish for. You’re also minutes away from lovely beach, again with shops, bars and restaurants on hand. Would suggest you take car down as a fairly steep walk back up if you’re lugging your beach clobber. If you want to take a morning off laying by the pool (which was a bit ‘fresh’ at this time of the year) or sitting in excellent outside area, the Nerja caves are only a 5 minute drive away and well worth a visit. Wouldn’t hesitate in going back.
