Villa Wave II Overview
Location is key and this is what makes this brand new villa extra special! Completed in early 2020 Villa Wave II, and its sister Villa Wave I, is in a prime location, just a short walk down to the Rubicon Marina, housing international and local restaurants along with a modern-day shopping centre.
As you step into the grounds of this luxury villa, you will notice welcome added extras, such as mini golf running alongside the house, as well as a pool table - perfect for outdoor living.
Once inside you will be greeted by a super modern open-plan kitchen/diner and lounge. The lounge area boasts a beautiful inside garden encased by glass. There is a very comfortable and large corner sofa along with a wall mounted flat screen TV for your leisure. The kitchen is fully equipped and no detail has been missed, with a pop up USB hub being located on top of the island. The whole space has a very airy, light vibe giving you that feeling of extra space.
Villa Wave II offers you three bedrooms. First you have the master bedroom which includes a spacious ensuite bathroom and a very impressive walk in wardrobe. The other two bedrooms have been tastefully done offering twin beds with freestanding wardrobes. All offer much-welcomed air conditioning.
There is also an extra-spacious bathroom for your convenience, containing an ultra-modern shower.
Back into the main hub of the house, there is a separate utility room housing the washing machine. The French doors of the lounge take you nicely back outside to a beautiful covered terrace where you will find inviting chill out sofas, another dining area along with the pool table - the perfect place to spend an evening relaxing and dining alfresco after stoking up the villa BBQ.
No Solmar Villa is complete without its own private pool. Surrounded by grass, this inviting pool is a fabulous place to spend your days under the Canarian sun, cooling off.
You can also be safe in the knowledge that the high walls of the grounds offer you that extra bit of privacy for you to enjoy your break with your loved ones in complete peace.
The villas have the added bonus of being directly connected via a garden gate enabling larger families and groups to enjoy these beautiful properties together. The gate can also be locked if necessary.

Villa is nice. Kitchen is missing a few facilities. Poor equipment etc. Hard to cook without sharp knives. During our 14 stay stay the villa was only cleaned once. They did a very good job but this was done on the 11th day so we had 10 full days without cleaning. The pool was also not cleaned once during our entire stay and was a bit minging towards the end.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Villa Wave II. It is even nicer than it looks in the photos- they really don't do it justice! The decor is clean, bright and modern. The rooms are large and the patio doors slide open fully allowing full access to the sundeck from the kitchen/ lounge area. There is a shaded area with comfortable seats outside to avoid the sun if you wish, but the pool itself is in full sun. All rooms have electric blinds and the master bedroom has a great walk in dressing room with loads of storage. The bathrooms are modern and spacious. The villa is in a quiet area with only a couple of immediate neighbours, however it is still very close to the marina end of the resort. Every evening we strolled over to Marina Rubicon where there is a wide range of lovely shops and eateries and had dinner and drinks. There are two supermarkets just a couple of minutes walk from the villa which was really handy, especially as they are open until 10pm. A further ten minute walk from the marina takes you to the sandy beaches and the main resort of Playa Blanca. It is a nice walk with lovely views but we only ventured that far a few times as we had everything we needed at the marina and at the villa. I definitely recommend eating at Arabella's at the Marina for dinner- great food and amazing cocktails, but you need to book online in advance. We also loved Lani's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can feed the fish in the marina from many of the tables. We also enjoyed a half day trip to the volcano Timanfaya. All in all it was a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Great villa in a great resort.

Villa Wave II was an outstanding holiday home. I can say it is the best villa in the 7 years we have been with you. Everything was perfect and the location so convenient for shops, supermarkets and restaurants. We as a family have been with Solmar in Menorca and Mallorca before but must say that after all Covid lockdowns Lanzarote was a great choice. Your Rep Kerry was ever so helpful to us over a small pool matter. Altogether a brilliant holiday Villa.

The Villa was absolutely fantastic. It’s absolutely huge, much larger than images indicate. Plenty of space outside, and shaded areas all day. The pool was the perfect size; great for kids with steps at each corner. Pool cover for extra peace of mind. Location was perfect, just a couple of minutes stroll to the Marina where there’s a selection of great restaurants. A lovely walk along the seafront to the beach and further along to Playa Blanca which we did a couple of times. A very personal service from Solmar Villas. Great communication throughout; thanks for a great holiday!

The villa was in a great location, a 10-minute walk to the marina where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The beach is a 15-minute walk (same direction as the marina but just a bit further). The villa was immaculate, spacious and has been fitted to a high standard. Unlike with some villas abroad there were also no dogs barking into the night. Kerry, the rep, was an absolute star and was always on hand if we had questions or required recommendations. Solmar villas were always responsive and helpful as well- will definitely be using again!

The villa was perfect for what we needed. The location was great, quiet at the villa but only a 5 minute walk to the marina. The only downside was the pool is all one depth so not the best for kids that can't swim, our own fault as we should have noticed this at the time of booking.

When we arrived at the Villa there were a few small problems mainly due to us being the first to use the Villa. But a quick call to Lisa the rep and things were sorted very quickly and efficiently. The Villa was lovely and as described, even had electric blinds. Its position is good just 5 minutes walk to Rubicon marina with shops and restaurants (a lot shut due to COVID and lack of tourists) A pleasant, roughly half hour walk along the seafront brings you to Playa Blanca where most restaurants were open. The pool was nice slightly on the cool side but perhaps we are wimps. Overall I would recommend the Villa in fact we have rebooked for next year.
