You will be able to request a full refund of the price paid for your villa booking, if on your date of travel, the following conditions are met:
- Your villa booking was made on or after 07/10/2021.
- Your booking was made for a villa to which the offer applies, which will show if available for your chosen dates during your booking journey.
- The UK FCDO or Government in your country of residence advises against travel to your destination due to COVID-19 on your travel date.

Villa Wave I Overview
Location is key and this is what makes this brand new villa extra special! Completed in early 2020 Villa Wave I, and its sister Villa Wave II, is in a prime location, just a short walk down to the Rubicon Marina, housing international and local restaurants along with a modern-day shopping centre.
As you step into the grounds of this luxury villa, you will notice welcome added extras, such as mini golf running alongside the house, as well as a ping pong table - perfect for outdoor living.
On entering the villa you will find yourself in the stylishly finished kitchen, looking out over the private pool and grounds. It offers all modern-day equipment, great if you fancy trying your hand at local cooking whilst on your holiday. The open-plan lounge is just ahead of you, decorated in a minimalistic style - it gives a great feeling of space. There is a dining area along with two two-seater sofas and a wall mounted flat screen TV showing international channels for your entertainment.
Villa Wave I has two bedrooms. First you have the Master double bedroom which includes a spacious ensuite bathroom. The other bedroom is a twin with a freestanding wardrobe, finished off to a high spec. Both rooms offer much-welcomed air conditioning and impressive electric blinds.
There is a separate bathroom also containing an ultra-modern shower.
Back into the main hub of the villa and you have the french doors of the lounge that lead you nicely back outside to an open terrace that wraps around the house. Here your very own pool awaits! It is the same depth throughout and has access from both ends offering that extra safety and convenience.
You can also be safe in the knowledge that the high walls of the grounds offer you that extra bit of privacy for you to enjoy your break with your loved ones in complete peace.
The villas have the added bonus of being directly connected via a garden gate enabling larger families and groups to enjoy these beautiful properties together. The gate can also be locked if necessary.
To top it all off, the Wave Villas have the added bonus of being car optional with everything on your doorstep. Villa was immaculate on arrival with clean linen and towels, and great kitchen supplies. Everything was comfortable and the pool was the perfect size. Marina Rubicon and shops were close by and the location was quiet and relaxed. Staff came to fix a minor issue with the sofa during our stay and communicated clearly with us about arrangements. We had a wonderful time.

Great villa in a perfect location and ideal for 2 people. Very modern and had a great range of facilities. The pool was not cleaned before our arrival or during our stay (which I did raise with the rep) which was a bit of a let down. Although the water itself was clean, the bottom of the pool had a lot of dirt and bugs and needed to be sorted out so this let it down slightly. The pool is also in the shade for a lot of the day, but can’t be helped. The aircon in the main bedroom didn’t seem to work very well, and the beds were quite small and uncomfortable. Square pillows should be swapped for normal as we both found these a little uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well but this is a small preference and not a major issue! The location is great, although a little noisy at some points due to the road but this didn’t bother us too much. Overall, I would return despite some of these issues and we had a great stay!

Villa Wave 1 is in a perfect location and is immaculately well kept. We went as a family and the place was great for children as well as adults. As per my previous experience, Solmar Villas were fantastic from start to finish. We will more than likely go back to this villa and use the villa next door Villa Wave 2 at some point if travelling in a larger group! We will CERTAINLY use Solmar villas again.

The villa was perfect for us as a couple. The bed was comfortable and all the facilities in the villa just what you needed for a holiday. The location perfect for the town and shops, we found all the bars around the marina. Perfect highly recommended and we’ll definitely will be returning to Wave 1.

I thought the customer service from start to finish was excellent. We had a small issue with a fire alarm battery during our stay which was fixed very quickly. We also had an issue (of our own causing) with our return taxi to the airport and the rep at Solmar Villas (Lisa) was very helpful in resolving that for us. I would absolutely book through Solmar Villas again.
