Villa Mar Corralejo is a charming terracotta three bedroom detached villa with its own private heated* swimming pool. This bright and comfortable villa has amenities only a 5 minute's walk away with a small selection of restaurants and supermarkets, whilst the heart of Corralejo and Waikiki beach is only a 20-minute walk further.
Conveniently located on one level, the spacious living room with dining facilities and kitchen comes fully equipped to ake you self catering holiday as easy as posisble. There are two twin bedrooms that share a shower room and the master bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. Air-conditioning is available in all bedrooms and WiFi is readily available throughout. Patio doors lead out from the living room to a spacious terrace looking out towards your own swimming pool with artificial grass laid out to the side. A brick BBQ completes the villa for lazy evenings dining with family and friends alfresco under the Canarian stars.

To access the villa there is a path which is 86cm wide along with 5 steps up to the villa itself, although there is also a ramp that reaches the front door. The front door has a width of 75cm and other doors that access the pool area are the patio doors which are 85cm wide but there are 2 steps down from this way. The grounds are a mixture of tiles and artificial grass and the pool has roman steps to enter. There is access to the pool area by a side gate from the ramp at the entrance however also a step this way. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 68cm wide which is the 1st twin room and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 67cm wide which can be either of the bathrooms. We found the villa comfortable & spacious, and better than expected from the photos, which don't show some key facilities - the large shower in the main bathroom, the floor to ceiling double fitted wardrobes in both the twin bedrooms, and the roof terrace. The location is quite a way out from the main town of Corralejo, as per the map, so we were glad we hired a car for the week, although we did walk in every evening for dinner. On the plus side this does mean that the villa location is quiet, which we loved. It's possible to manage without a car though.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Mar. The heated pool and the outside terrace were fab. The villa was in a quiet location which was ideal for us. There were food and drink outlets within 10 mins walking distance and a further 15 mins walk into Corralejo centre. The large Mercadona was 5 mins by car for all food shopping requirements. The nearby dunes are a must see. We loved Corralejo and shall return.

Enjoyable two week stay at this villa. Has everything required, plus the luxury of a ping pong table. Unfortunately, the pool table was practically unusable as the villa representative explained to us on arrival (someone had purchased the wrong type). Supermarket is a quick walk away and taxi rank the same. Maids came after a couple of days to provide new towels but didn't return again. However, there is a washing machine in the villa. Overall, the villa met (and some ways exceeded) expectations. Communication with the villa representative was 10/10. Would return to and also recommend this villa.

Villa Mar was clean and spacious and great value for money, it's a good 30-40 minute walk to the main town of Corralejo but there is a near by taxi rank just a 10 min walk down a very uneven and unlit path at night, taxi to and from town is between 3 and 4 euro
