Cala en Forcat is a delightfully laid back resort and pleasing on the eye, from the lovely array of whitewashed villas to the long stretches of gently shelving sandy beaches, a perfect combination for a relaxing holiday. Due to its privileged location close to the beach and resort centre, everything you need is within a very short stroll, making evening strolls into the village of Cala en Forcat even more enjoyable, knowing that you can enjoy a glass of chilled white wine without having to worry about the drive back home. Alternatively, why not make use of the owner’s hotel (Tayalot) which is located nearby, where you are welcome to use their extensive facilities including their excellent restaurant which also conveniently provides a take away menu, so that you can enjoy their excellent prepared cuisine in the comfort of your villa.

Through front door (80) into large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, with 2 large sliding doors to outside rear terrace (150) on the right when you enter is a hallway which has the bedrooms on your left which all have sliding doors to the rear terrace (115) twin room (70) 2nd twin room (70) 3rd twin room (70) and double room (80) with walk-in shower room (80) with sliding door. To the right is the 2 bathrooms (70) and laundry area access by sliding door (110). Lovely spacious modern villa all on one level. The air conditioning that was in all the bedrooms and the living area worked very well. The pool is a good size. The villa's located about a 5 minutes walk to supermarkets and restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to a small beach. There does seem to be a regular bus service to Cuitadella and to other beaches. Everything was very clean and tidy and the addition of complementary pool towels was greatly appreciated.

First time booking a Solmar Villa. Villa was beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures on the website, which is not always been the case with villa's we have booked with other companies. We have given 9 stars for overall satisfaction and cleanliness as we had an ant problem in the main bedroom and shower room which caused us some discomfort as the ants would be on our clothes in the wardrobe and on our towels in the bathroom. In hindsight we should maybe have contacted Fran again and got maintenance out to put down ant powder but we did not want to make a fuss and know that sometimes ants do appear but it was strange as they did not appear in any other room of the villa. This issue was nothing to do with the cleaner who done an excellent job and was very friendly and efficient.

Lovely villa. Spacious, bright, well designed. Furniture was very comfortable but practical. Evening sunsets amazing. Imagine it's excellent for anyone with mobility issues as everything on one level, no steps. Though may benefit from grab rails in the over-bath showers, it was bit slippery. Also handrails for the pool, rather daunting getting in and out with nothing to hold on to. Kitchen utensils basic, e.g tin opener was useless and rusty but we bought one from supermarket and left it . Nice little resort, couple of good restaurants and handy little supermarkets nearby. Very good bus service to Cuitadella, two stops yards from villa. Overall thoroughly recommend this as a quiet, relaxing place to stay.

The outside of the villa is great and the pool fantastic.The resort of Cala n Forcat is wonderful, found some great restaurants and spent the evenings in the square watching the entertainment, Would definitely go back to that resort.

Very modern villa. Nice clean lines. Lovely bathrooms and a shower room for less able visitors. All bedrooms lead onto the swimming pool decking. Beautiful sunsets seen from the barbecue area. Kitchen well equipped. Pool towels provided. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa.

What a fantastic villa !!, well thought out with anti slip decking and tiles. Very high quality finish everywhere and a very good location overlooking the sea, couldnot have wished for better. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants all well within walking distance and bus stop 3 minutes away. Would definitely recommend to all holiday makers, whether it be adults or families, hoping to go again next year.
