The Travel Restrictions Guarantee is automatically included in the website price and can be removed before you book, however we strongly advise you keep it to give you added flexibility and protection.
You will still need to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy as soon as your booking is confirmed. This insurance should, as a minimum, protect you against cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, loss/theft of possessions and documents, personal liability and airline failure.
Terms and Conditions
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' applies to bookings for arrival between 1st May 2021 and 31st December 2021 only.
- If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.
- Cancellation of the booking will also result in loss of the premium paid.
- You should ensure you have adequate comprehensive travel insurance to protect you in cases of cancellation for any other reason including, but no limited to, being unable to travel due to airline failure or cancellation, being quarantined for or diagnosed with Covid-19 or unable to travel due to work commitments or restrictions upon return.

One of 3 sister properties, Villa Marcolis Playa enjoys an elevated position in the beautiful area of Cala Galdana. This tastefully furnished 3 bedroomed villa has an open plan living/dining area and spacious pool terrace with covered alfresco seating, perfect for leisurely evenings cooking up a storm on the BBQ. A 10 minute downhill walk will bring you to the centre of the resort with its numerous restaurants, bars and shops. A picturesque bridge over a river leads you to the breath-taking horseshoe shaped beach of Cala Galdana, the gentle, shallow waters and numerous activities make this a perfect spot for a family day out. For those wishing to venture further afield, a daily bus service takes you into Ciutadella, the charming old capital of the island which is steeped in history and culture.
**Due to the San Joan Festival, all bookings which include 22nd – 24th June, we shall only accept Family bookings.

To access the villa there is a path which is 110cm wide along with 2 steps. The front door is 80cm wide and the other door that accesses the pool area is the lounge patio door which is 90cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool area are 110cm wide, all paths are tiled/even and the pool has steps to enter. There is one step before the pool area. There are no bedrooms or bathrooms on the ground floor, the closest is up 16 steps to the first floor. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 70cm wide and the door into the lounge area is 70cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The horseshoe-shaped bay boasts soft white sand, shallow, turquoise waters and a dramatic limestone cliff backdrop, giving it an almost Caribbean feel. Water-sports aplenty are on offer in Cala Galdana, and a small wooden bridge over the ravine makes for a picturesque setting and provides the opportunity to walk along the headland and through the pine forests. There’s so much to do on a villa holiday in Cala Galdana, but the pace of life remains slow and steady providing just the right balance.

Cala Galdana is a great location for a more chilled late season stay. Villa was perfect for our group of 5 adults but has limited outside space but that is reflected in the price

Cala Galdana is one of the best locations on the island. Beautiful location,excellent beach. Resort is clean and quiet. Can be some steep walks though, depending on where you are staying. Villa Marcolis Playa is private and has a good size pool.

The villa was fabulous as all the Solmar Villas we have stayed in have been. Cleanliness was first class. Resort was a bit quiet for us but that was just a personal thing. Will definitely be booking again with Solmar as we have never been let down

Brilliant holiday, the villa had everything we needed and the pool was a godsend in the August heat! Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and only 10 minutes to walk into resort. Highly recommend.
