Villa Alicia Overview
Villa Alicia is a short ten minute walk from the fabulous beach of Cala Galdana. With its many beautiful family friendly beaches, the popular diving school and the marvellous selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, Villa Alicia is perfectly located for a relaxing and enjoyable summer holiday.
On the ground floor is a spacious living room with dining area, separate fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a wet room ideal for those less mobile*. On the first floor there are two twin bedrooms both with private balcony and one with en-suite bathroom facilities. There is also a double bedroom and a decent family bathroom. The villa benefits from fully automated air conditioning systems to help keep you cool during the hot summer months.
Outside, the villas have been carefully constructed to give easy access from the downstairs living space to the covered terrace, with a small step to the beautiful pool area and sun terrace complete with table tennis for your enjoyment.
*Separate ramp access into the villa is available with a small lip from the terrace to pool area

This villa is in an exceptionally hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there is a path which is 100cm wide along with 4 steps up to the villa itself. The front door has a width of 81cm and other doors that access the pool area are 81cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool are 1m wide, the grounds are even and the pool has steps with no handrail to enter. There is 1 step down to the pool area but there is also ramp access available. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 81cm wide and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 81cm wide. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 81cm wide and the door into the lounge area is 81cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I would describe this villa as perfectly adequate. The kids loved the pool and there was enough room inside for the 8 of us. Cala Galdana is a lovely resort and the beach is beautiful. It does get busy, we tried to get there for 10am to enjoy it before it gets too packed.

The villa although a bit dated had everything we needed. The pool was so warm and clean we spent our time between that and the beautiful clean beach. Only a 15 mins walk down hill to the beach but more coming back up the hill but totally worth it! This was our second holiday through solmar and have recommended them to our friends and family

Beautiful villa, well equipped and ideal for walking down to the main resort - although it's a bit of a steep hill back up - no problem unless you have toddlers or elderly in the group! The pool area is perfect and the built in BBQ gives extra option for dining in. Very handy for shopping at supermarkets (small but well stocked), only 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend this villa, and will definately return - Five star stay

The Villa was just lovely, and the freedom of being in a private Villa as opposed to a busy complex or hotel was just amazing. It was roomy and spacious with all the facilities that you would find in your own home and plus a beautiful pool, built in barbecue, utility room, veranda's on which you could sit and watch the sun rise or set. I loved it so much, I would never go back to hotel or complex holidays in fact, I would love to go back here again. All this and set in one of the most beautiful areas of Menorca, Cala Galdana which has simply stunning views no matter which way you are facing, out of sea or inland. I have the most treasured memories of this place locked away in my heart for eternity.

The villa was very big and would easily have accommodated the 8 people that it advertised could stay there. It was very well equipped, having everything we needed throughout our holiday. The only downside was the location as it is quite a way up from the main resort and the walk is up a rather steep slope. Absolutely fine if you have a car like we did as we just drove up and down but if you did not have a car it would be a bit difficult. Resort is beautiful, Cala Galdana has been our regular holiday destination for years and we love it. Everything you need within the one resort,shops, bars, restaurants, a beautiful beach and gorgeous views.

Rated: Excellent. We really enjoyed our week at Alicia. The villa is located at the top of Cala Galdana, around 10 min walk from the main hub. Its walkable, although you certainly know about it on a hot evening! We hired a car, which I think would be advisable as the nearest supermarket is 5-7 mins away (uphill walk home), and if you are a beach fiend, walking up and down the hill with towels, snorkels etc every day would be quite tiring. The accommodation and facilities were very much as we expected. The resort itself was great, and we would definitely come back to Villa Alicia again.

There is no need for a car in the resort, but the supermarket shopping is very limited so to do a good self catering holiday you would need a car.
