The Villa was modern, bright and spacious, and being located at the top of the cliffs, had access to many viewing points. The views were stunning, and the colour of the sea was as blue as shown on various postcards and resort pictures. The Villa had a very large covered terrace, which was perfect for any time of day, be it breakfast, or late evenings, even when we had a one day of storms it was a wonderful place to sit outside and watch the storm. And the pool was just the right size (even though it was very cold) There were many walks and bike tracks around the area, going to various coves and towns. The down side for us with the villa and the resort, was more to do with our circumstances, having a person in our party disabled and wheelchair dependent, and would not effect any able bodied persons. The villa reported as having disabled facilities, was misleading, as the only disabled facilities was a ramp to the front of the villa and handrails on the ground floor WC, whereas the shower could not be used by a wheelchair user, and there were 2 steps down to the pool area. With regards to the resort, it was noted in the description that the lift in the nearby hotel could be used by not so able persons to get down to the beach, rather than using the steps (circa 210 number steps), this again was misleading, the access road down to the hotel entrance was very steep, and the lift only went down to the lower café area, which still had 24 steps down to the promenade, (there was a ramp but it was so steep it could not in any way be used by wheelchairs) therefore the only safe access down to the beach and shops etc. was to walk along the pavements and down the hill, approx. 30min down and longer going back up the hill, or use a car. At the end of the day it was still a wonderful place and we had a great holiday.
