Palma de Majorca Airport (PMI)
The much-adored resort of Puerto Pollensa is one of the most popular on the island and for good reason. This picturesque town is full of Majorcan charm and is home to long stretches of golden sand, a delightful promenade and chic marina which make Puerto Pollensa villa guests the luckiest holidaymakers in this part of the world.
Pool area was excellent, with lovely views and very peaceful.

Our Villa Can Moragues was spacious and clean and set in the most beautiful surroundings with orchards and mountains all around. Porto Soller was within easy driving distance and we loved walking around the harbour and eating out at one of the many restaurants there.

Lovely peaceful rural location, with gorgeous backdrop of lemon trees and mountains. Great pool area slightly away from villa which was great with small children.

Villa compact and well laid out including the outside dining area - didn't hire a car but the walk to the shops etc was good - the resort was a lovely Spanish resort excellent for a relaxing week

Rated: Ok. Resort was great, villa position was ok, we used to walk into port de polensa at night and taxi back, usually 7 euro.

Lovely well equipped villa nestled into the hills behind Puerto Pollensa. Lots of room inside and out. We loved the big patio area with different areas to sit. Felt very isolated and private but only a few minutes from Puerto Pollensa beach.

Rated: Excellent. Lovely well equipped villa nestled into the hills at the back of Puerto pollensa. Lots of room inside and out. We loved the big patio area with different areas to sit. Felt very isolated and private but only a few minutes from Puerto Pollensa beach and supermarkets. Superb pool you could actually swim in and no hassle getting sunbeds!

Rated Excellent All the information we received prior to and whilst on holiday was at an excellent level. We were dealt with efficiently and professionally at all times. We had a fantastic holiday in Can Moragues. The villa was well appointed and clean - we particularly enjoyed eating outside and barbecuing most nights. The layout was very family friendly and the pool was particularly appreciated.

We had an excellent stay in the villa! The location was rural and quiet, took about 40 mins to walk to marina or a 5 min drive. Did not have any need to contact Solmar Villa representative when we were out there as information pack was excellent gave us all the info we needed, directions to the villa were also great. Would definitely return to Resort and Villa!

We returned yesterday Saturday 21st May 2011 from Villa Can Moragues, Majorca after having a brilliant 2 week holiday. The villa met every criteria for us. We appreciated being well off the main road away from traffic noise, yet there was an excellent supermarket and all the shops we needed just down the road a while. If you want a secluded, quiet, peaceful location amidst trees of lemon, orange, lime, fig and grapes, with just birdsong for company and with outstanding views in all directions this is the villa for you. We especially appreciated the large covered terrace with the built in BBQ also under cover which we found perfectly adequate. The pool exceeded our expectations in size and depth and being a short distance from the villa made it easier to keep an eye on the small person with us. The bedrooms were fine as were the bathrooms. Also, after a rather blustery night during the 2 weeks, appeared the next morning and someone had cleaned the pool. We would not hesitate to travel with Solmar Villas again.

My experience of Solmar Villa's is a positive one, the reservation and booking process was very straightforward and easy. Driving Instructions and information was clear and prescise. The Holiday was great, the Villa is as described set in a very scenic and quiet part of Pollensca the grounds of the villa are picturesque and views beautiful. The Villa is definately made for outdoor living, when the weather was bright and sunny, we had an amazing time! We were very sad to leave and two weeks flew by. Can Moragues is a great hideaway for some peace and quiet away from it all, but still in close proximity of local amenities, the port is a ten minute drive away with all needs available and many restaurants and supermarkets etc. All our needs and expectations from the Villa were met and well catered for. Things to do / Places to Visit: Pollensca port itself is enough to keep you busy and enjoy atleast 2-3 days there. The Beaches are clear sandy and water warm even in late April! Formentor Beach is a must and is only a 30 minute drive away, but the mountain roads are not for the faint hearted drivers. But once you arrive the beach and views are absolutely amazing. The Caves 'Cuevo de Arta' of Arta make for a nice day out, again the drive is scenic and the views from the cave are beautiful. If you visit Arta then Canyamel Beach is also beautiful and only a 20 minute diversion either to the caves or on the way back. The Alcudia Market on Thursdays is nice and the horse ride carts around the city are great fun. Palma City also has so much to do, we spent half a day at the port and another day visiting the Palma Aquarium which lives up to all it boasts of being the best Aquarium in Europe. My children are 2 and 7 and had an amazing holiday which I am sure they will remember for many years to come and we have all the pictures to remind us of the great time we have had.

The Villa is in an excellent location for easy access to the centre of Puerto Pollensa, just a short walk to the restaurants and sea front, and a few hundred yards from a major supermarket. The garden and pool area are top notch, and it's pretty secluded apart from an adjacent couple of homes. We had a wheechair user in our party and I'm afraid the villa was simply totally unsuitable. The property is 'mature', Although equipped with all the necessary electric goods, there were books/games and a book with local info all there which was very helpful. If you want a nice garden/pool area with prime location for Puerto Pollensa in strolling distance it's not bad at all. I'd happily return - but the wife wouldn't. She's more fussy than me. The main point though is NOT suitable for whelchair user. Puerto Pollensa is a lovely place.

The villa was just as we expected from the photos and description. Furnished simply in traditional style, We very much enjoyed our stay. We particularly liked the peaceful location surrounded by orchards/vineyards.

We had a great week. The villa is very comfortable if a little far out of town. A car is a must. The villa grounds and pool are great and the area is so peaceful. Puerto Pollensa is a town we will definitely return to. It is not full of the typical brit abroad crowd that we were afraid we would find in Mallorca. We booked a trip with 'No Frills' via the Solmar office and found it to be very well organised with a great guide and driver. Rather him than me on those mountain roads! We did the Lluc and Soller valley trip and really enjoyed it. We also did a boat trip around to Formentor and the scenery is spectacular. We ate a couple of times in the Ca'n Josep restaurante/bar and cannot recommend it highly enough. Not been open long and Josep goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and the food was wonderful. Solmar were very good, no problems and a great holiday.

The villa was lovely, very clean, everything we requested was in place - such as cot, high chair, buggy. We met the owner who was lovely, the pool and pool area were clean and tidy, views of the mountains were wonderful, easy to walk to the local bars - about a 25 min walk, and Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa were both within easy reach by car. On the whole, one of the best holidays i have experienced, and we are very keen to book another holiday with yourselves in 2011 - again in Majorca! but this time for 2 weeks, will probably be in the Pollensa area again as we fell in love with the area. We found the booking with yourselves very straight forward and experienced no problems what so ever, love your choice of villas, and regularly look on your website to check which villa we like the look of for next time!

Just writing to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Can Moragues. The villa was well presented, well equipped and clean. We even met the owner, a local man responsible for the adjoining smallholding of lemon trees, orange trees and olives, who arrived to service the swimming pool. He was pleased we had enjoyed our stay. Once again many thanks for a most enjoyable stay.
