This superb individual detached villa is located just 400m from the beach in the ‘Llenaire’ area of Puerto Pollensa. There are a number of restaurants and a supermarket within easy walking distance. To access the villa there is a path which is 120cm wide along with 3 steps up to the villa itself. The front door has a width of 88cm and other doors that access the pool area is the hallway door which is 55cm wide and the kitchen door which is 150cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool are 105cm wide, the grounds are flat and the pool has roman steps to enter. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 70cm wide and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 70cm wide also. This is the second time we have used Solmar for a unique family holiday (elderly grandparents, kids and grandchild). It's an absolutely ideal way to holiday with a family. Can Fiol was superb and all six adults commented on the quality of the place. The only small issue we had was the location of the nearest store for provisions, but solved by sending the younger ones. We are already contemplating a return.

A spacious villa for family groups with a separate upstairs area perfect for grandparents. Just a short walk to the glorious sandy beach and play amenities and a little further along the front to a range of restaurants and small supermarkets. The taxi pick up for 9 people, organised by Solmar, worked brilliantly. We didn’t use the bus service but shopped at the large Eroski and hired a taxi to take all the shopping back. The villa has a lovely pool with steps for access but just bear in mind the shallow end is approx 1.4 metres deep. Our three grandchildren loved it.

Villa is in an excellent location, right next to bus stop & minutes from the beach. Beautiful large family lounge, plus smaller lounge. Well equipped kitchen. Pool area very well maintained with comfy loungers. The resort is perfect for families & older couples. Lots of lovely restaurants with very friendly staff. Returned to holiday in Puerto Pollensa after a 15 year gap. We weren’t disappointed, the town has only got better. Very easy booking process and rep on hand to deal with any issues. Very big villa, with a lovely pool area. Good quiet location, 5 minute walk to beach, 30 minutes to centre. Plenty of play equipment for children along the way, also a selection of restaurants. Local Spar within walking distance and large hyper market just a 5 minute taxi ride.

This was our first visit to Puerto Pollensa and we were not disappointed. Villa Can Fiol is a huge spacious villa on the edge of the town, but very close to the beach and a lovely, easy walk to all the main shops and restaurants. The villa has everything you need and the lovely pool area is very clean, safe and private. The garden is beautiful - full of olives trees and palms and very well cared for. There appears to be some new furniture in the dining area, and whilst it must have been stunning when first built, the traditional fixtures and fittings are looking very tired and old fashioned compared to the more modern villas. We were only a party of 4 but this is perfect for large groups of friends or family. There is a bus stop right outside that runs regularly to Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia, and Palma, so there is no need for a car. Taxis into town were only around 5 euros. There are a few good restaurants only 5 minutes away. We loved Suillar Grill restaurant where we ate a few times and had excellent service. We would highly recommend Solmar villas and will use them again next year. Also Multi Hire, a British run company in town exceeded our expectations by hiring us an acoustic guitar for the week, which was delivered prior to our arrival, along with a food hamper with all the essentilals. A perfect and much needed relaxing holiday. We didn't want to leave!

Can Fiol is an amazing villa set in the quiet roads on the Alcudia side of Peurto Pollensa. It is approx 300m from the beautiful sandy beach, a mile or so from the town centre and right beside a bus stop where buses to Alcudia and other destinations leave every 30 minutes or so. We choose this villa because one of our party is in a wheel chair and we knew the immediate area was flat so perfect for him. Apart from a few steps into the villa and down to he pool area he was able to stay in the wheel chair the whole time. Some people have criticized the villa for having dated decor but you would be a very sad person for that to be an issue, it isn't new but is spotlessly clean and perfectly acceptable. It has everything you need including 5 bedrooms with aircon plus a childs bedroom, comfortable beds, 5 showers and toilets, two lounges a big kitchen diner with all mod cons including dishwasher. The wash room has a washing machine and tumble drier so you can bring fewer clothes if you wish. This was very handy for us as we had two hire cars for 10 people and all our luggage plus a big wheelchair so we all had smaller cases than usual. Although not big the pool was perfectly adequate with plenty of room for beds and completely private. There is an excellent supermarket less than 5 minutes drive away and a smaller one with bakery for your fresh croissants around 10 minutes walk. If you're looking for a villa in a near perfect location in the nicest resort in Majorca we would highly recommend Can Fiol.

A good villa and great location.I stayed at the villa with a group of 8 others and I can honestly say it was excellent and just what we were looking for, a base to start our 10 days of cycling. The villa is quite dated in décor and furniture, but this did not detract form the stay. There is plenty of space in and around the villa to create your own wee space for piece and quiet. The upstairs bedroom is great and has another room beside it with a table and chairs in it, this is ideal for socialising in smaller groups. The pool is small, but ideal for us as we came off our bikes and dipped our legs in the cool water, there are loads of chairs and tables around the outside of the villa and this was brilliant for have smaller group chats. I would recommend this villa to any other group as it met our needs easily, so much so that we have booked a further 14 days at the villa for 2015. The local rep was very good, we had a late flight back and given that no one was in the following week, we were able to stay on for the full day on the departure date. The location is great, 200m form the beach, 800m form the main town area where the pubs and restaurants are located. The distance was most welcome to let our stomach settle on the way back. The Hyper Market is a bit of a walk, but a short taxi ride, which makes so much sense, given the weight of the food for 9 people.

This is our second trip to this villa as we loved it so much last time. The location is quiet and you can either rent a car or get the regular bus service outside the hotel galleon on the main road a short walk away. The decor of the house is typical Spanish, but all in all it is a beautiful villa. The pool is lovely and has sunbeds surrounding it, and it is a right suntrap! The kitchen is very large and can cater for a large party. There are several tables and chairs dotted on the outside so your spoilt for choice where you want to eat alfresco!

Rated Execellent. A very large spacious villa 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, set in a quiet location perfect for groups or families with lots of privacy. Secured gates stop little ones from escaping out of the villa. Lots of space for children to play safely all around the villa. The villa itself is very well equipped. Just a short 5 min stroll takes you to the lovely beach, you can then follow the road all the way into the heart of Puerto Pollensa, a good 20 min walk but flat all the way.

We had a great time at the villa, fantastic garden area and pool, we spent most of our time outside. The outdoor furniture is good quality and there is enough seating etc for a large group (even though there were only two of us) We enjoyed two local restaurants, Galeon and Llenaire, both less than 5 mins stroll from the villa. Pollenca is only a five minute drive and the marina in Alcudia is close too.

The Villa Fiol was fab. Very spacious all very clean and all the information directions ( very good) etc were in place. We made use of the BBQ area and with all the various sun loungers patio sets and tables you could follow the sun around the villa all day. very quiet area buy yet easily walkable into the town. We had a car which did help with the shopping but you could manage without. this is our second booking with Solmar and will definitely be looking for something with you next year.

We had a fantastic week in what we all considered to be a totally fabulous villa. The pool was excellent and there was an abundance of space inside and out, lots of tables and chairs everywhere and plenty of space to chill out which is exactly what we did! The location was great , 400 metres to the beach and to the nearest restaurant Llenaire BBQ Grill, i would recommend it to anyone. If this is a typical Solmar Villa then im sure we will be back to try another in the future and forget hotels, this is way to go!

What can I say, this villa exceeded all my expectations. The outside area and the furniture provided was more than ample. The beach is a short walk and the town centre a good walk some would say but only 5 euros in a taxi if the legs give out. The furniture is comfy and the beds were good with plenty of wardrobe space and good sized bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. Everything was very clean and on Thursday (we were only staying a week) the maids came in to change covers and clean bathrooms. What more can I say but we all had a great time and would definatly book again. I hope you everyone has the same enjoyment as my family.
