The Travel Restrictions Guarantee is automatically included in the website price and can be removed before you book, however we strongly advise you keep it to give you added flexibility and protection.
You will still need to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy as soon as your booking is confirmed. This insurance should, as a minimum, protect you against cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, loss/theft of possessions and documents, personal liability and airline failure.

- If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.
- Cancellation of the booking will also result in loss of the premium paid.

The Natural Park of S'Albufera, rich in wildlife and unspoilt scenery, as well as the six-kilometre-long Blue Flag beach at Playa de Muro can be found within a few minutes’ drive. It is essential to rent a car when booking this house as all amenities such as bars, restaurants and supermarkets are around a five-minute drive away.

Choose a villa holiday in the picturesque hillside town of Muro in the north of the island for a taste of traditional Majorca. The town is quaint and rural, however the beach resort of Playa de Muro is technically within the municipality and just a short drive away.
Notable sights in the area include the ‘Museo Etnologico de Muro’ based in a 17th century mansion, offering a fascinating glimpse into Majorca's past with its collection of costumes and agricultural materials. The Catalan-Gothic Church of St. John the Baptist is equally impressive, where you can ascend the belltower for rewarding views of the Bay of Alcudia. Wander through the town’s sleepy narrow streets to glimpse the large sandstone mansions built by wealthy former landowners, and pick up fresh produce at one of the local markets. Affectionately known as the ‘vegetable basket’ of Majorca, the town grows plenty of fruit and vegetables in the area and has a thriving wine industry thanks to the island’s flat, fertile plains protected from strong winds.
Nearby, the Natural Park of S'Albufera is rich in wildlife and beautiful scenery, home to herons, flamingos and many migratory birds. Around ten kilometres away from the town is the popular seaside resort of Playa de Muro with a beautiful six-kilometre stretch of golden sand, meaning visitors to the area can experience a wonderful mix of beach and culture.
