- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.

This large country villa benefits from a peaceful and very private location set in extensive grounds with gardens and orchards. This magnificent country retreat is conveniently located just a short drive away from the popular resorts of Port Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa with their superb beaches and the old town of Alcudia, all offering a good choice of shops and restaurants. The accommodation comprises of a spacious living room with dining area, a reading room, a separate kitchen and a shower room on the ground floor. There are five double bedrooms and one twin bedroom on the first floor along with a full family bathroom. The property is approached by a long drive from double gates, passing orchards to arrive at the parking area. There is a large swimming pool with children’s section, beautiful well-kept gardens and lawns with natural shade. Patio furniture, sun beds and a BBQ are provided. This villa offers a good level of privacy.

This villa is in an exceptionally hilly/mountainous area. To access the pool area there is a path which is 90cm wide along with 1 step. There is also ramp access to the front door. The front door has a width of 90cm and the other door that accesses the pool area is the kitchen door which is 75cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool area are 170cm wide, the grounds are uneven due to slopes and gravel and the pool has roman steps to enter. Inside there are 3 steps from the lounge to the dining area/bedrooms and the kitchen which are 16cm high. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 70cm wide and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 60cm wide. We were a party of eleven - 5 8 - 16 yr olds , 4 in the forties and two in the sixties. The six bedrooms were adequate and the lounge and dining area was too, but we ate outside anyway. The pool was by far the main attraction, along with the abundance of space for the children to play in. The location was quiet and peaceful - we had noted comments from others about pigs and peacocks but they were,as far as we were concerned as added attraction. The location was convenient for Pollensa, Alcudia and Porta Pollensa.

We (a family of 4) stayed at Villa Son Simo Vilaire with our friends (another family of 4) for 1 week. We felt we got an exceptional good deal considering the size and facilities of the villa and we were not disappointed when we arrived. The size of the pool and the vast grounds are outstanding and occupied our children for the stay. The grounds are well looked after and great for children and adults alike. The scenery is absolutely stunning at the pool side and at the villa and it is located in a lovely part of Mallorca. The villa is off a main road so a car is vital and it is not in walking distance of any shop/bar however we did not expect this to be given the description of the property. It is located in front of a small farm, where they were pigs, chickens, goats, peacocks and such like wondering around nearby. The villa itself does appear to have received a make-over since the photos were taken. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs (one with a bath, but both with showers) both are fairly new. There is also a downstairs toilet/shower room also recently refurbished. All bedrooms are of an adequate size and more than substantial for our party of 8.There was a further bedroom on the first floor which was unused during our stay. The kitchen has adequate facilities - fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, dishwasher however the washing machine is not situated within the kitchen. This is out of the backdoor, across a small lane and in a separate room beside a drying area. At first, the area didn't look particularly clean however the washing machine was in working condition and we used this on a couple of occasions with no issues at all. Would I go back to the villa - definitely. The pool is simply amazing, the grounds, the view are stunning. We were able to enjoy the villa in peace and had a very relaxing holiday.

Great rural location with fantastic garden swimming pool. Adjacent to unique farm with peacocks, goats, lambs, geese and an ostrich family! All well fenced in apart from the occasional wandering peacock. Great fun. Kids loved it. Traditional Majorcan House with loads of seating and dining places outside and inside. Good wifi connections and easy access to close beach resorts by car and taxi and other island attractions by car, bus and train.

Brought a group of 11 to this villa and overall very satisfied. It is located in front of a working farm with lots of farm animals and peacocks. A car is necessary as located approx 8km from Alcudia. The pool was clean and we'll maintained. Would rent this villa again.

We felt very comfortable in the villa and the quiet location just before Alcudia. We had a nice holiday, could use the pool and in the evening the barbecue provided. The rooms were nice and clean. I will gladly recommend this villa to my friends and colleagues.
