- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.

Just a short stroll uphill from the fabulous sandy beach of Castelo and with impressive panoramic views, Villa Figueiras enjoys the tranquility of a relatively rural setting whilst being within walking distance of the sandy beach, general store and seafront restaurants of the village itself. The popular neighbouring village of Gale with its gorgeous sandy beaches is less than 1km away and can also be easily reached by foot. Inside the living accommodation is welcoming and comfortably furnished with an ultra-modern lounge that leads out onto a spacious terrace overlooking the private garden, larger than average swimming pool and the adjacent barbecue area that is sure to become the focal point of holiday meal times. Externally, the attractive grounds and lovely private pool area create a sanctuary which you will find difficult to leave, however getting out and about could not be easier. A stroll of about 5 minutes takes you to the village and sandy beach whilst a drive of less than 5 minutes brings you to the vibrant and cosmopolitan Albufeira, well known for its fabulous shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

To access the villa there is a path which is 300cm wide which leads to the villa itself. The front door has a width of 78cm and other doors that access the pool area are the patio doors from the lounge which are 80cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool area are 500cm wide, the grounds are flat, only the front of the villa slopes away and the pool has roman steps to enter. All the bedrooms have a door width of 68cm and all the bathrooms have a door width of 66cm. The villa was perfect for us (a family of four). Very comfortable and spacious and all the facilities needed (AC, BBQ, safe, clean, regularly linens, washing machine etc). The location could not be better either - within walking distance (15 minutes walk) to two excellent beaches (Evaristo and Do Costello - both have WC facilities and great restaurants/lunch areas), 10 minutes to two mini markets (a minimercado on the main road and there is also a good mini market in the Hapimag on the walk to Do Costello), 5 minutes to a good Tapas bar and less than 5 minutes walk to a very nice restaurant called O-Marinheiro. Villa is very private too. Excellent!

The Villa was truly excellent, well equipped and immaculate throughout with pool and gardens to match. There were a few bars and restaurants close by all serving nice food. Car hire is probably recommended as the supermarkets are a little further away. Albufeira was only a short car ride, no more than ten minutes to the old town.We would have no hesitation in recommending Solmar Villas, not only for the superb standard of accommodation but also for the extremely polite and efficient service they offered when we went through the booking process.We're already looking to book with again you in the near future.

Firstly we must say we have been exceptionally impressed at the ease of booking, the clear documentation with regards to the villa and the professionalism of solmar villas. We travel abroad 3-4 times a year and have yet to find as good a service. Upon arrival the villa was fantastic, matched the pictures and description perfectly and was even nicer than expected. On our first full day a lady from the site office dropped in to check everything was ok and was exceptional. She went above and beyond even sitting down with a map to show us the local sites and restaurants to visit. We visited a few local restaurants and a few in alberfeira aswell as eating in some nights with the fantastic meat purchased from the supermarket down the rd. We were very impressed by za za Asian street kitchen in alberfeira situated in the main square. The food is a mix of Thai and vietnamese with a few different choices thrown in. We had never visited Portugal or stayed in a villa before but after our fantastic experience we will definitely be visiting again and booking our next villa through solmar.

The Villa Figueras in Portugal was fantastic, we had a great stay, We couldn't have asked for more. The villa itself was spotless and extremely well equipped. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained, the gardener visited every day to clean the pool, which we hadn't expected as it was not the height of season and as a result it was very clean. We were very impressed with the whole process of booking, arrival, accommodation etc. There is a fantastic little cove within walking distance Praia da Coelha (Rabbit beach) with a great little cafe right on the beach, which we visited quite a few times, very peaceful away from the crowds and the food was lovely. There is also a great little supermarket that we discovered within the Happimag complex which can be accessed from Coelha beach or by driving, left out of the villa and a sign post about 200yds turning left. Well worth the visit for supplies they are well stocked and extremely polite and friendly. There is also a restaurant on the same site although we didn't try it. I would highly recommend the Villa and would love to return to the area as its so near to the amenities and to Algarve shopping too. Thank you very much, we will be more than happy to use Solmar again and I have recommended it to quite a few of my friends.
