You will be able to request a full refund of the price paid for your villa booking, if on your date of travel, the following conditions are met:
- Your villa booking was made on or after 07/10/2021.
- Your booking was made for a villa to which the offer applies, which will show if available for your chosen dates during your booking journey.
- The UK FCDO or Government in your country of residence advises against travel to your destination due to COVID-19 on your travel date.

Isabel Vivenda Overview
Isabel Vivenda is a delightful four bedroom villa with private pool, located in the area of Castelo, only a short walk away from Castelo’s local bars, restaurants and a supermarket.
Castelo beach is a little further and can be reached in 20 minutes if you fancy the walk. Alternatively pack the car high with a picnic, your snorkel and a bucket & spade and within a few minutes’ drive you’ll reach Praia do Castelo. This relatively small bay is worth the visit as the golden sands are surrounded by beautiful backdrop of rock formations, typical of the Portuguese coastline.
The open plan lounge and dining area makes for a great space to socialise and cool off from the sun. Patio doors open up to an elevated terrace area, providing a lovely view of the pool which can be enjoyed from the comfort of the shade. The sparkling cool water of the pool is hard to resist in the warm Portuguese summer, so take a dip and make a splash! Isabel Vivenda has four spacious bedrooms all complete with its own ensuite which is perfect for those who wish for a little more comfort and privacy. With your very own bathroom, you won’t be scrambling for the first shower! There are two on the ground floor and two on the first floor, perfect for two families. Three of the bedrooms feature patio doors leading to a terrace or balcony, brightening up the room with the morning sun or perhaps whilst you relax after a busy day exploring the local area. One more perk of this classic home-from-home is that guests of Isabel Vivenda benefit from access to a tennis court, shared with the owner and their family, who also own the surrounding green land. Located to the west of the lively resort of Albufeira, the peaceful haven of Castelo is the perfect base for enjoying the sights of the Algarve. Castelo is a quiet residential area making it perfect for relaxing holidays and still offers a selection of bars, restaurants and a supermarket. The nearby resort of Albufeira, known for its fantastic sandy beaches and sizzling nightlife, is conveniently 10 minutes away.

As a Portugal regular 3/4 times a year for 30 years I have long avoided Albufeira. It is awful in the extreme but the villa was happily reasonably situated far enough away from the grotty town and it Marina area in an oasis of relative calm. It has an excellent outlook and is within walking distance of several restaurants and a good supermarket, away from the "madding crowds" Some physical aspects of the property need attention. Doors to most, if not all of the bedrooms, will not latch properly. The need to jam them with paper to stop constant rattling is simply not acceptable. Also the rear door to the kitchen would not unlock. This is considered a serious H and S issue as it is an escape point in the event of fire. The lack of finishing touches was a little disappointing. Many properties of similar standing have books and games and similar which adds a little homeliness to what is after all a "rental". And no visitors book either. Usually a good source of local recommendation But those points aside (except for the comment below) the Villa was much enjoyed.

The Villa was brilliant in almost every way, great amount of space for two families, well equipped apart from it could do with more glasses and cups, also better shade provision round the pool. The parasols provided were only two and couldn’t cope with the wind. We bought more but really it needs something more sturdy to be effective. We paid quite a bit so wouldn’t expect to have to buy these kind of things to have some shade by the pool. The pool needed cleaning properly, when the guys came they did it but we requested this during the early part of our stay which was via Jet2, however it was towards the end of the holiday (we’d extended so the last part was via Solmar) that this got done properly. That said, the pool area is great, plenty of space, two big tables to eat at, plenty of sunbeds. Would definitely return!
