We know that you might be feeling uncertain about booking your next holiday with the ever-changing travel restrictions, which is why we've introduced our Travel Restrictions Guarantee for your peace of mind.
Book your next villa holiday with confidence, safe in the knowledge that you can either move your dates or receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid if your travel dates are restricted by either FCDO/local government advice advice or local restrictions in your destination country.*
The Travel Restrictions Guarantee is automatically included in the website price and can be removed before you book, however we strongly advise you keep it to give you added flexibility and protection.
You will still need to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy as soon as your booking is confirmed. This insurance should, as a minimum, protect you against cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, loss/theft of possessions and documents, personal liability and airline failure.
Terms and Conditions
'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' applies to bookings for arrival between 1st May 2021 and 31st December 2021 only.
If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.

The four-bedroom Villa Haninni has been newly built in a traditional style, nestled on the outskirts of Gozo’s easternmost village: Qala. With a combination of bright airy interiors, traditional touches, modern amenities and breathtaking views of the countryside and the Mediterranean Sea, this is the perfect villa for a relaxing holiday in Gozo.
The villa boasts its own private pool as well as a generous sized terrace with mature gardens – a rare find in a Gozo villa. Both spots are great for soaking up the sunshine and a barbecue area allows guests to make the most of dining outdoors on balmy evenings. Attractively decorated with a welcoming atmosphere, the interiors are arranged over two levels. Most of the socialising areas are open plan and include a kitchen, dining area and lounge. Leading off from the kitchen through an archway is another living room, a lovely nook perfect for a cosy movie night. Accessed via a stone spiral staircase, the Master Bedroom is worth a mention; guests have use of an ensuite bathroom and a private terrace with spectacular surrounding views, so this room is highly sought-after! For some friendly competition, there is table tennis in the garage to keep everyone entertained.
Guests on a villa holiday in Qala can expect many natural and historic attractions. The area is well-known for its rich history, popular swimming coves such as Hondoq ir-Rummien, several interesting caves and its coastline views over to the islands of Malta and Comino.
July - August is fixed, flexible at any other times.

The quiet village of Qala (pronounced 'a-la') is one of the oldest areas on the idyllic island of Gozo. Situated on the easternmost part of the island and surrounded by countryside, guests on a villa holiday here can expect many natural and historic attractions.
Qala is well-known with locals for its natural gem, Hondoq ir-Rummien, a popular swimming cove with a sliver of sand. The rest of the coastline is largely rocky, where rock-cut saltpans form pretty caves with crystal-clear waters – great for snorkelling. One of the prettiest caves is Għar Minka, only accessible by boat. Qala offers some wonderful rural walks, with stunning views across the sea to Comino and Malta. Search for the deep parallel tracks known as cart-ruts, which extend over 180 meters making them some of the longest in Gozo. Along the way, you may also stumble across a chapel known as Il-Madonna tal-Blat (Saint Mary of the Rocks) and historical defence towers. Other interesting things to see around Qala include the islands' best-preserved windmill, and even some prehistoric remains.
The social life in Qala revolves mostly around the village square, where a variety of restaurants and bars are open all year round. Every evening the square becomes the relaxing meeting place for locals and tourists alike, who visit from all over Gozo and Malta. Qala is also home to the largest traditional folk festival in the Maltese Islands, usually held in mid-September.
