You will be able to request a full refund of the price paid for your villa booking, if on your date of travel, the following conditions are met:
- Your villa booking was made on or after 07/10/2021.

- The UK FCDO or Government in your country of residence advises against travel to your destination due to COVID-19 on your travel date.

This Gozitan village house oozes charm and character, located within one of Gozo’s oldest areas: Qala. Arranged over three floors, this stunning semi-detached property is comfortably furnished and is a great base for your villa holiday. The ground floor consists of an internal courtyard leading to the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas which overlook the pool terrace, accessed through statement red French doors. Stepping out onto the terrace, an outdoor dining suite is provided along with a barbecue and an array of sun loungers laid out alongside the delightful pool. There is a choice of either an external stairway or an internal spiral staircase to reach the first floor, where three bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities, are located. On the second floor there is the fourth ensuite bedroom, which features a large furnished terrace with sweeping countryside and sea views. The basement of the property boasts a beautiful arched ceiling and is equipped with a spectacular hidden hot tub for added indulgence.
The closest restaurant and supermarket are just 950m away from the property and you’re within walking distance to Qala’s lively main square, where one can find a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. For a leisurely day at the beach, it’s an easy five-minute drive to the two beautiful beaches of Ramla and Hondoq Ir-Rummien.

Resort Description
The quiet village of Qala (pronounced 'a-la') is one of the oldest areas on the idyllic island of Gozo. Situated on the easternmost part of the island and surrounded by countryside, guests on a villa holiday here can expect many natural and historic attractions.
Qala is well-known with locals for its natural gem, Hondoq ir-Rummien, a popular swimming cove with a sliver of sand. The rest of the coastline is largely rocky, where rock-cut saltpans form pretty caves with crystal-clear waters – great for snorkelling. One of the prettiest caves is Għar Minka, only accessible by boat. Qala offers some wonderful rural walks, with stunning views across the sea to Comino and Malta. Search for the deep parallel tracks known as cart-ruts, which extend over 180 meters making them some of the longest in Gozo. Along the way, you may also stumble across a chapel known as Il-Madonna tal-Blat (Saint Mary of the Rocks) and historical defence towers. Other interesting things to see around Qala include the islands' best-preserved windmill, and even some prehistoric remains.
The social life in Qala revolves mostly around the village square, where a variety of restaurants and bars are open all year round. Every evening the square becomes the relaxing meeting place for locals and tourists alike, who visit from all over Gozo and Malta. Qala is also home to the largest traditional folk festival in the Maltese Islands, usually held in mid-September.
