Beachside, Praiano, Amalfi Coast

Beachside is something else, hugging a rocky hillside on the scenic Amalfi Coast it perfectly reflects the shimmering green and blue hues of the crystal-clear waters below. The view is eye-popping, with endless panoramas of the picture-perfect Positano Bay at every turn. The standout feature of this villa is the vast terrace area backed by rugged mountains and overlooking the glistening seascape. With multiple terraces, the pool deck is our favourite flanked loungers, umbrellas and armchairs, featuring a heated outdoor swimming pool perfect for sunset dips. If you’re after a quiet nook to unwind, the grassy lawn is flourishing with vibrant greenery and flowers that fill the air with heavenly scents. The veranda will have you enjoying long dinners every night in the balmy evening air whilst watching the sun set over the bat, with a table set and barbecue that makes alfresco dining easy. 

Beachside isn’t all about the views, built with a traditional feel featuring Vietri majolica tiles, terracotta tones, mosaic walls and whitewashed walls. Inside consists of bright and spacious rooms that perfectly blend modern design and Mediterranean styles. A total of 400 square metres spread across two floors, this airy villa has tonnes of space for up to six adults to relax together. The open-plan ground floor is chic and luxurious, with opulent archways, ceramic tiles, contemporary art pieces and grand chandeliers. Sitting in the middle is a charming wooden dining table complete with elegant chairs, surrounded by a cosy living room and sleek kitchen. Downstairs, there are two of the ensuite bedrooms with queen size beds, with a third ensuite queen size upstairs. If you’re in need of extra TLC, there’s little extras that make this villa even more enticing including an outdoor gym, Italian breakfast and a butler service (for an additional charge).  

Situated just outside of Praiano, it’s renowned as the quiet neighbour to Positano and both are close-by to explore its cobbled centres and sample the local cuisine. Marina di Praia is just 3km from the villa threshold for beach towels to be thrown down and boat tours to be booked. The photo-worthy town of Amalfi is a little further afield, the legendary hotspot of any Italian villa holiday filed with pretty sun-bleached houses and sea-drenched shores.
