The Travel Restrictions Guarantee is automatically included in the website price and can be removed before you book, however we strongly advise you keep it to give you added flexibility and protection.
You will still need to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy as soon as your booking is confirmed. This insurance should, as a minimum, protect you against cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, loss/theft of possessions and documents, personal liability and airline failure.

- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' applies to bookings for arrival between 1st May 2021 and 31st December 2021 only.
- If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.
- Cancellation of the booking will also result in loss of the premium paid.
- You should ensure you have adequate comprehensive travel insurance to protect you in cases of cancellation for any other reason including, but no limited to, being unable to travel due to airline failure or cancellation, being quarantined for or diagnosed with Covid-19 or unable to travel due to work commitments or restrictions upon return.

Afantou Beach Villa Overview
Just 200 metres (2 minutes' walk) to the glorious beach at Afantou, with beach front restaurants and a few minimarkets, this idyllic Rhodes holiday villa has a top notch location. Afantou Beach Villa is beautifully secluded in its own large garden, fully fenced and looks across open land directly to the sea.
The newly added pool takes pride of place surrounded by a stone paved terrace with a large area of grass, and a very cosy shaded sitting area on the garden level is the perfect place to enjoy a cool drink and keep an eye on the children playing in the pool. This area also offers a built in barbecue and the garden also offers table tennis, just in case all the relaxation gets to be too much! All the accommodation is on the upper level, reached by a flight of exterior steps leading onto a wide balcony with comfortable seating and al fresco dining. Naturally from here you get the best of the view.
The interior of Afantou Beach Villa has been refurbished recently and it is bright, modern and attractive with some pretty touches provided by Sofia, the lovely lady who owns and looks after the house.
The main double bedroom also has access to a private balcony on the side of the villa. An eighth person could be accommodated on the sofa/seating unit in the living room if needed.
All in all, we think this is the ideal spot for your Rhodes summer holiday, right by the beach, but just over 1km from Afantou with its wide choice of shops, cafés and restaurants as well as an ATM, chemist and everything you would expect in a small town.

To access the villa there is a path which is 148cm wide along with 7 steps up to the villa itself. The front door has a width of 90cm and other doors that access the pool area are 90cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool area are 148cm wide and the grounds are flat. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 72cm wide which is the main bedroom and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 72cm wide which is the main bathroom. Resort Description
One of the largest villages of Rhodes, Afandou is located on the east coast and not far from the resorts of Faliraki and Rhodes Town. A lovely square can be discovered in the heart of the village, a wide selection of shops, bars, café and traditional Taverna restaurants. A popular resort and only 1km to the Blue Flag beach along the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, which can be accessed by a mini-train in the peak months. A must see is the beautiful Church of Our Lady Katholiki and the only golf course on the island, Afandou Golf is also located close to the village.

I stayed in this villa with 6 friends and it was perfect, exactly what we were looking for! Very spacious, amazing pool and outside area. It’s very peaceful and this villa is the first one closest to the beach (2 minute walk). We found some amazing local restaurants (the one next to the Church of Katholiki and Shark fish restaurant on the beach front) and there are also a couple of bars on the beach front too. We stayed at the villa most days to relax, but when we went to Lindos for the day this was only 30 mins by bus. Solmar Villas staff have been great, plus having a rep to communicate with whilst on holiday made all the organisation/transfers very smooth. I can’t wait to book my next holiday with them and would highly recommend :)

The villa was very close to the beach and an excellent restaurant. The garden, pool and shaded seating area were all very good and perfect to help cope with the heatwave we experienced. Bedrooms bathrooms and kitchen/lounge we all thoughtfully arranged.
