- If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.
- Cancellation of the booking will also result in loss of the premium paid.

Villa Iris Karavi Overview
Iris Karavi ('Karavi' meaning ship in Greek) offers those sort of breathtaking views that many claim but few really can match. 240 degree sea views encompassing the Bay of Sivota, the outer islands, and across the channel beyond Itaka to Kefalonia with the tiny islands of Arkoudi, Atokos, Kalamos and Kastos dotting the perfect horizon. Sitting on the terrace late afternoon in October was like being on the prow of a large ship drifting through the archipelago towards Kefalonia – simply magical!
This is one of the few villas where you can watch the sunrise and sunset from your terraces, or even whilst floating in the glorious infinity pool or lounging on the extremely comfortable sunbeds. Â
In addition, a series of steps and paved pathway lead down to a private stone platform for sunbathing and swimming directly above the azure sea with ladder access (only recommended for competent swimmers). The pathway does offer a lockable gate so that access for children can be regulated and there is a handy outdoor shower so you can rinse off on the way back up.
A light-filled, home from home with all rooms leading out to the various terraces and balconies around the house. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms with a comfortable living/dining room and open plan kitchen, where floor to ceiling glass doors lead onto the sea-facing terraces and the wonderful view is always there to be enjoyed. Outside, there is a brick built barbecue and alfresco dining on the main terrace overlooking the pool. In addition, the lower garden level features a separate annex with a small sitting/dining area and kitchenette, which can sleep a further three people.
The extensive grounds fall away below the house in terrace layers with natural grass, shrubs and fruit trees, offering some quiet shady corners to sit and soak up that view. The upper garden offers lawns and Iris Karavi has private electronic gates for access by either car or foot.
If you can drag yourself away, Sivota's picturesque bay and harbour, filled with bobbing yachts and offering a great choice of local restaurants and a couple of mini markets and shops, is just 5 minutes' drive away.

This villa is in an exceptionally hilly/mountainous area. To access the villa there are 13 steps to the front door. The front door has a width of 98cm and other doors that access the pool area are the very wide patio doors. The garden area is accessed by 7 steps and the grounds are flat. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 77cm wide which is the double room and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 66cm wide which is the main bathroom. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 98cm wide and the door into the lounge area is 98cm wide. *Please note that although every effort has been made to ensure the information provided is accurate, errors can occur and if you need to find out more specific information about the villa, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Resort Description
Sivota is quite possibly the prettiest fishing village you are likely to come across. Located in the south east corner of Lefkas, Sivota boasts one of the prettiest and most colourful little natural harbours we have ever encountered.
For enthusiastic photographers, you’ll have a hard time convincing your friends that your images have not been photo shopped, such are the vivid contrasts between the green olive groves that tumble down to the water’s edge of the aqua marine cobalt blue waters of this stunning scene. Simply stunning.
Sivota has evolved over recent years and has become a firm favourite with the yachting fraternity, who enjoy mooring in the idyllic harbour of an evening and of course, who equally enjoy hopping ashore on their tender dinghies and dining in one of the many excellent seafood restaurants and trendy café bars that have sprung up over the years.

The villa was great with spectacular views all day long from watching the sun rise to the sunset. The annex could do with some modernisation and lacked a kettle for hot drinking however our rep trish was on hand the following day and brought one to the villa. We didn't receive everything the food package stated so was a little disappointed that we paid the extra with our flights arriving very late on a Sunday when shops are closed. Overall stunning villa and solmar were very helpful when required.

This villa is all about the outside views which are magical and quite outstanding. Unfortunately, the inside doesn’t match the lounge is uncomfortable and bathrooms too small. But because the outside is so fabulous this isn’t a problem but would be nice if it was equally as good bearing in mind it’s quite expensive. The town is lovely but you have to drive and the road is not great from the villa.
