- If there are restrictions advising against travel to your chosen destination country, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a holiday voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- If there are restrictions in your destination country preventing you from being able to travel to that destination, you will be able to cancel your villa and receive a voucher for the full amount paid for your villa to rebook when you are ready to do so.
- 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is automatically included in the search results price on the solmarvillas.com website.
- The premium paid for 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-commissionable.
- The premium can be removed from the basket if not required. If removed during booking, you still have 7 days from confirmation to add this back on if needed.
- For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, this premium can't be added or removed after booking.
- The 'Travel Restrictions Guarantee' is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-commissionable.
- Cancellation of the booking will also result in loss of the premium paid.

The villa has 4 steps for access and a path that is 400cm wide. The front door is 80cm wide and the other doors to access the pool are also 80cm wide. The paths from the villa to the pool are 150cm wide and the ground is flat. The closest bedroom and bath/shower room is on the first floor which is 20 steps up. Resort Description
At the very southernmost tip of Kefalonia island a popular beach resort has grown up around the charming village of Skala.
The main attraction of this area was the endless expanse of stunning sand beach, but the village centre – now offering a varied choice of tavernas, mini markets, shops and cafe’s has grown with the addition of some rather chic restaurants and bars along the beach front and several “boutique” hotels.
A walk up into the hills behind Skala brings you back to another era as you explore the ruins of the old village destroyed in the earthquake in the last century. Skala has become probably the most “sought after” holiday resort on Kefalonia in recent years – and it’s easy to see why.

Really nice villa located on the road to old Skala. A good location too, villa is clean and today with all the amenities required, the pool and surrounding are are clean and today, plenty of shade available for very hot days

The villa was very clean and maintained regularly during our stay. Plenty of pillows, towels, chairs and sun loungers. We were given clean sheets and towels half way through the week. It was in an excellent location, just a short walk from the high street and beach and there was plenty of space and things in the villa to keep our children occupied. There were no supplies in the cupboard, so instead of buying salt, olive oil, ketchup etc. we decided to have lunch at the villa and have dinner out every night.

Loved the location, the villa was substantial and the children loved playing in the pool and searching for geckos. Not far from restaurants, bars and the beach with a walk home back up the hill to help burn it off. It was regularly cleaned as was the pool.

Nice traditional villa located on old scala road ,walk down to bars. Restaurants and beach ok but a killer on way back up so car is essential. Villa and pool were very clean. Very enjoyable stay.

Villa is situated in a in an ideal location, quite during the day but an easy downhill walk to many bars and restaurants on the evening. This was our fourth Villa holiday as a group of three couples . we all agreed this was the nicest location and Villa. Spectacular views to wake up to in the morning. The walk back up the hill on the evenings is challenging but all part of a very enjoyable break.

Superb villa set in lovely spacious grounds. Excellent facilities within villa including BBQ and large pool. It is located approx 10 min walk to the start of the main Skala strip and then around a further 10 min walk to get to the beach. Skala itself is a nice resort with an ample amount of restaurants and bars and a few touristy shops. However at least half of the restaurants and bars were already closed for the end of season when we arrived on 8th October and by the end of our week the few restaurants that had been open were starting to shut down as well, so I would not advise visiting this time of year if you were planning on eating out every night.
