Villa Yiasemi is a total delight, offering sea views looking south towards Corfu Town. Villa Yiasemi was brand new in 2018 and sits on the steeply wooded hillside between the coastal road and the Bay of Agni on the glorious north east coast of Corfu, nestling into the olive clad hillside in the area of Kavalaraina. The gorgeous beach at Agni and the excellent tavernas are just a ten minute walk down the hill through the olive groves so plenty of shade on the way but it is a steep uphill climb on the way home.
Villa Yiasemi has been built in solid stone in the traditional style of the local stone dwellings, with thick walls to keep the interior cool, but there is nothing old fashioned about this lovely house. The interior is light, airy and romantic and offers the utmost comfort and beautiful relaxing surrounding to enjoy a perfect holiday. The upside/down design means that the living areas are on the upper floor to enjoy the lovely views and the bedrooms are downstairs where it is always cooler, although of course, all areas have full air conditioning.
Outside things get even better with a lovely infinity pool which is seasonally heatable if the water temperature drops below 24 degrees, and an adjacent Jacuzzi hot tub are the high points. Beautiful stone terraces for sitting and sunbathing, are completed by a shaded outdoor dining and barbecue area. All in all we think Villa Yiasemi will prove to be supremely popular for smaller families and would be ideal for two couples.
Usual day is Mondays.

Corfu International Airport (CFU)
In Greek the word ‘agni’ means ‘pure’ and this beautiful bay in the heart of Corfu on the north east coastline is pure Greece, pure relaxation and beauty! Agni is just 27 kilometres from Corfu airport, tucked in between Nissaki to the south and Kalami to the north, looking across the channel east to nearby Albania.
A protected deep bay with a very pretty pebble and shingle beach is home to three of the most talked about restaurants in Corfu. Each restaurant has its own jetty and a good number of visitors arrive by boat and moor up (this alone gives hours of entertainment to diners in the beachside tavernas) whilst the remainder reach this hidden spot by a narrow downhill road from the main coastal road. During the peak summer months Agni Bay is a hub of activity; in the local restaurants you’ll need to book to get a good table to enjoy the excellent food for which it is so rightly renowned – but also to rub shoulders with some very distinguished guests. In the early and late summer months it is a peaceful haven.
From Agni you can walk along the coast past Yaliskari beach to Kalami to enjoy a change of scenery. Excellent water sports are provided here along with a larger choice of shops and restaurants. The ideal mode of transport in this area is the self-drive motor boat which gives you the freedom to get to other bays easily and to do your super market shopping by boat!

Stunning villa above a lovely little bay with three Taverna's and a cocktail bar. Quite a hill yet only a 5 minute walk down and a few extra back up. Kassiopi is well worth a visit 15 minutes up the coast, supermarket in Kalami a 5 minute drive away. No speaker in the pool area, would recommend taking one for nights sat out. such good value for a 4 to 5* villa.

A beautiful villa in a stunning location. There are lots of seating areas in sun and shade with a lovely pool. Plenty of kitchen equipment, lovely contemporary decor, screens to keep out insects, excellent air conditioning, strong WiFi and close to the sea. Excellent restaurants nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Yiasemi, making good use of the lovely pool and hot tub and taking in the great sea views from the upper level. We found the villa to be well-situated, just a short distance from stunning Agni bay which must be one of the best beaches anywhere, complete with fantastic tavernas. The villa was clean and well-equipped. There was an issue with (lack of) water supply but this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently by our villa rep. Would not hesitate to return or to recommend.
