Already booked for Summer 2020?

With your holiday fast approaching, we understand you will be considering what to do next.

If you have booked your villa AND flights with Solmar, please go to our Flight Package Holidays page for your relevant information.

We have worked closely with our suppliers to be able to offer our clients travelling before the 1st September 2020 with additional flexibility for peace of mind. If you are travelling on/after the 1st September, currently standard terms and conditions do apply as we don't anticipate any restrictions on travel by this date, however, should there be any restrictions to travel to your arrival destination,  then we would look to offer you a move to 2021 with no amendment fees.

Many destinations have implemented specific protocols around safety and cleaning in self-catering accommodation which our villa operators will be required to adhere to for your safety and peace of mind. We will add any information received to our website as soon as available online.

If you are still unsure about travelling this summer, you do have options available:

Option 1

Between 4-6 weeks before your holiday, if you decide you can't/don't want to travel on your booked dates, you can request to change your booked dates to either 2020 or 2021 with no admin fee.

Within this amendment time window, you can, if you prefer, request a Credit Note Voucher instead of moving the booking.

You will also be able to benefit from our Gold Member discount which gives you 10% off the website prices. If the value of your new holiday is less than the original you can use any overpayment towards ancillary extras such as car hire or transfers or keep it towards a future holiday, a refund isn't an option.

If you move your booking to later in 2020, you still have the option to move again at 4-6 weeks before arrival based on the new arrival date.

Your time window for moving your booking without charge, along with a form to request the change is available here:

Please note if you later wish to move back to an earlier date, you will be allowed to reinstate your original booking but any admin fee will not be reimbursed and the accommodation price will be charged at either the current website price or original price booked, whichever is the greater.  If you have booked an Adhoc villa we will need to contact the supplier for options and requests to move your booking.

Option 2

Continue with your booking as planned.

However, please note, if within 28 days of travel you are unable to travel due to restrictions, our standard cancellation charges would apply.

If you are left out of pocket from a cancellation, your first port of call would be your travel insurance and we can support you with documentation to assist in your claim. Please be aware though, there are very few policies that will cover you if you simply don’t want to go (disinclination) so check with your insurance cover before making any decisions!

Where clients have exhausted all other avenues of reclaiming their losses, we will approach the villa supplier to discuss discretionary options such as partial credit vouchers or moving the booking to an alternative date. As suppliers incur costs the closer to arrival you get, the more notice given will increase the chances of being able to move the booking or increase any possibility of reduction in cancellation charges.

Please note, these options only relate to our own Exclusive villas. If you have booked an Adhoc villa we will need to contact the supplier for options and requests to move your booking.
