Cala 'n Porter Villas

The well-known and popular resort of Cala 'n Porter is on the south coast and offers turquoise blue waters that glisten in a narrow cove backed by a wide sandy beach. On one side, the untouched limestone cliffs are the home to seabirds. On the other side of the cove there are a number of homes perched precariously on the cliff-face.
A unique bar and nightclub, Covas den Xoroi, named after Xoroi, a legendary Berber pirate who abducted a local girl and kept her in his cave, is set in a cave high up in the cliffs.
The resort has a wealth of bars and restaurants including some on the beach. A
weekly market is held in the square to compliment the choice from the varied
shops within the resort.
A little road train runs around the resort through the day, and down to the beach. Besides the Covas den Xoroi nightclub, family entertainment can be found most evenings in local hotel, which are open to all.
If you are feeling energetic, take a walk over the hill to the lovely picturesque cove or "Cala Coves."
A villa holiday to Cala 'n Porter is ideal for families with children or couples who would prefer not to drive. Buses run regularly into the Capital Mahon and there are plenty of taxis available for the short journey there, or to and from the airport.
