Villa Rocio , Nerja

Villa Rocio is a delightful detached villa conveniently located above Nerja, providing magnificent sea views. A short stroll from this privileged Villa are a number of superb Blue Flag beaches, one of the most popular being Burriana Playa, with its gently sloping golden sands, beachfront bars, and numerous restaurants – many of which specialise in fresh fish cooked over charcoal. Internally the house is designed on one level and provides an airy and spacious space for a wonderful family holiday. Externally, the private pool is surrounded by lawns and mature, well stocked gardens offering good levels of privacy and truly excellent views. A short stroll from Villa Rocio brings you to the focal point of the town, the magnificent marble-paved promenade, Le Balcón de Europa, which protrudes on a rocky outcrop between two bays, a pleasing area to stroll around in the evening to take in the many stunning views, the street entertainers and to sample the irresistible local ice cream.

The accommodation, which is all on one level comprises of an ‘L-shaped’ living room with comfortable sofas and a dining area adjacent to the fitted American Style kitchen which has a separate laundry room off. Both the double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the twin bedroom are accessed from the living room and benefit from fitted wardrobes and bedside tables. There is an additional family bathroom adjacent to the bedrooms. Entertainment is provided in the living room b a Satellite TV, DVD Player and Stereo system.

Double patio doors from the lounge give access to a spacious covered terrace from where there are magnificent sea views. A brick built Barbeque on the sun terrace and patio furniture are provided to enjoy 'Alfresco Dining' Steps from the covered terrace lead down to a tiled sun terrace and the 8m x 4m kidney shaped pool with roman steps for easy access. The pool is surrounded by lawns and mature, well stocked gardens. Patio furniture, sun beds and parasols are provided. The villa is in an enclosed plot with lockable gates. It is in a quiet location offering good privacy and excellent views.

We had our best holiday yet at Villa Rocio in Nerja. The villa was gorgeous with an amazing view and was clean throughout. we will definitely stay here again as we love Nerja.It is very centrally placed for Burriana beach, the caves and the centre of Nerja. We wished we had been there for two weeks and next time we visit we will go for two weeks in the summer. The kitchen could have been a little more equipped for a self catering holiday but nevertheless a lovely villa. We will contact you in the future when we decide on our next holiday. We had an amazing holiday, the villa, surrounding grounds and pool were very well maintained and we found extremely difficult to drag ourselves away from just relaxing in and out of the lovely pool. We ate at Restaurant 34 in Calle Carabeo, but had to book. Also ate in Antica Roma on Calle Carabeo, enjoyed both. The caves at Nerja were well worth visiting, as was the Alhambra in Granada and the village of Frigiliana" - Mr & Mrs Morris 02.07.11
