This large detached villa, set in extensive grounds, is located in the Aigua Gelida estate, just a few minutes walk down the hill to the unspoilt resort of Tamariu with it’s beautiful, picturesque sandy beach and numerous fine restaurants, shops and pleasant walkways.

The accommodation is on two levels; on the first floor, the entrance hall gives access to a spacious lounge / dining room, which has a covered terrace off, equipped with brick built barbecue and patio furniture for ‘alfresco’ dining. The fitted kitchen is conveniently located next to the living room and gives access to the garage and laundry area. In addition there is a single bedroom and family bathroom on this floor. Marble stairs lead down to the lower area where there are two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, both having a single pull out unit under one of the beds to make triple occupancy in each room. The four bedrooms on this level share two bathrooms, one having a thermostatic shower and heated towel rail. The villa is tastefully furnished and well equipped throughout, making it a very comfortable venue for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Outside, covered and open terraces give access to extensive, well kept mature gardens with lawns and an 8m x 4.5m swimming pool with roman steps for easier access for children and the elderly. There is a children's play area with swings, a shaded parking area and a garage. The villa is totally private and not overlooked in anyway.

Villa Parcela is an excellent property, in a beautiful setting in the hills above Tamariu surrounded by trees. There are two beaches within 5 minutes drive of Villa Parcela, which are also both accessible by foot in 15 or 20 minutes, though there is a long, steep walk back which makes the return somewhat more difficult. Tamariu is within easy striking distance of all the major attractions of the Costa Brava, including both Dali museums and the city of Barcelona. we had a fantastic time in the villa, and I would recommend Parcela, Tamariu and the Costa Brava as a great destination for a large group such as ours. Our villa was very good. Very peaceful - the kids loved the pool and the garden. We enjoyed visting Llafranc and Begur - the area feels like authentic Spain. We hope to return to Tamariu one day. Mr Robertson 29-05-10

The villa was lovely, really wonderful.  It was well kitted out, had a brilliant swimming pool and grounds that were very well maintained. The bedrooms and living room were to a very high spec and it was clean and tidy.  We had an excellent holiday. Mrs Foot 12/06/10
