Accommodation

The accommodation, which is on two levels comprises briefly, on the ground floor of entrance hallway leading to spacious and beautifully furnished lounge / dining room. Entertainment is provided here with a Satellite TV (4 English channels) DVD Player and a music centre. Leading off the living room there is a fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, oven and hob. In addition, there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. The tiled entrance hallway has a lovely wooden staircase leading to the first floor landing where there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and access to a spacious balcony having panoramic sea and coastal views. There is also a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom on this level. The villa is furnished to a high standard having some beautiful antique furnishings, marble and wooden flooring in various rooms. Two sets of patio doors from the lounge lead out onto a terrace, where there are steps down to the sun terrace, pool area and gardens. To the front of the house there is a large covered terrace. the villa was very spacious and had almost every amenity, we basically chilled out for the week and thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved the space, the number of bathrooms, the size of the place and the seperate balconies, so is really well catered for

Anyway we loved the villa. We had maid service twice i think which was unexpected. Gale and lorenco beaches were fab, Gale was big enough that even on a busy day there was room enough for everyone. Quinta de la gale was just 5 min from our villa and the peppered steak was amazing, they also had a load of children's games to keep young ones amused. We had a fantastic time and we'll defo be coming back. Miss Hodge 09/04/11

Have just arrived back and had a lovely peaceful time. The Villa was very nice and spacious and transfers went very well even though we were delayed (3 hours) on arrival at Faro airport. The area of Gale at this time was very quiet as a lot of the villas were not occupied  but this suited us as we had a 5 month old baby with us. A representative popped in to see if all was ok ( I think on Monday or Tuesday) and my daughter just mentioned that the water wasn't running away in one of the bathrooms. We then went out for a couple of hours and when we returned it had been dealt with. We were very impressed with the speed of this response. The cleaners also came twice during our week stay, which we didn't expect and were very nice chatty ladies. On the whole it was a very positive experience and we would certainly book with Solmar Villas again and would also like to go back to the Algarve.
