A tour round the town can be taken in an open buggy - a favourite with children and parents alike.
There are a number of superb Blue Flag beaches and rocky coves to explore around the town. One of the most popular being is the Burriana Playa, with its gently sloping golden sands, beachfront bars, and numerous restaurants – many of which specialise in fresh fish and sea food cooked over charcoal.
Although there are around 350 bars and restaurants in Nerja, it still retains its charm and genuine Spanish character, making this the perfect location for a holiday villa rental if you’re looking for a balance of tradition and luxury.
A few kilometres east of are the famous Cuevas de Nerja, which feature many prehistoric cave paintings and the longest stalactites in the world, many of which are 63m long!
